Reactor Pipes and Details
Step 1
Fit the Reactor Detail (118B) to the rear center of the Reactor Platform, as shown.
There is a pin on this Reactor Detail that matches an locating hole in the Reactor Platform to align it correctly:

Secure this part into place from below with one (1) AP screw:
Step 3
Fit the Pipe (Left) to Reactor Platform, as shown:
Step 4
Secure this pipe into place from below with one (1) EP screw at the front…
… and one (1) FP screw at the rear:

Fit the Pipe (Right) to Reactor Platform, as shown:

Secure this pipe into place from below with one (1) EP screw at the front…
… and one (1) FP screw at the rear:
Step 7
Fit the two pins of Reactor Detail (118A) to the rear center of the Reactor Platform, as shown.
On The ‘A’ Car, this is a vent from an old GRC-19 T-195 military transmitter. Our part even has the same decals on it!
One thing you may notice in the image above is that the inside of the real part is actually yellow-ish. Therefore, I painted the inside of mine (as well as the matching location on the Reactor Platform) with Tamiya XF-3 Flat Yellow paint:
Once I fitted this part into place, I thought it came out pretty good!
Step 8
Secure this detail into place from below with one (1) AP screw:
Thoughts
It was actually odd to paint something with a brush as I have not done it in a long time! Don’t forget that if you do the same, you can clean up any acrylic paints with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Just do not rub too hard on the painted surface of the Reactor Platform!
